Unity Conscious Leadership®, handles the personal data of customers, relations and users of its website with care. We ensure that personal information provided to us is treated carefully and confidentially. If you enter personal data on our website, you agree that we use your data in accordance with our privacy statement.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Social Media

Our website contains buttons with which web pages can be shared on social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. These buttons work with pieces of code that come from the company in question. Cookies are placed via this code. We have no influence on that. Read the privacy statement of the companies themselves to see what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies. The information they collect is anonymized as much as possible. The information is stored on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ adhere to the Privacy Shield Principles and are affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the United States Department of Commerce. This means that an appropriate level of protection is applied for the processing of any personal data.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Collection of personal data

When you visit our website, we may ask you for personal information such as your name, address details, telephone number and email address. For example, in case you want to download documents or sign up for a newsletter or seminar. In these cases, we ask you to enter the relevant personal data on a dedicated web form. All information made available to us by you will only be used by us in accordance with the law and this will be done in a proper and careful manner.

We use data regarding your click and usage behavior on the website to investigate possibilities for further optimization of the website.

Processing of personal data

If you are asked for personal data, for example for a download, demonstration or other action, this data will be used for the administrative processing of your request. In addition, your data can be used by ICIS to inform you by telephone, by post or by e-mail about products and / or services of ICIS and / or carefully selected partners of ICIS that are relevant to you.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

ICIS does not store personal data longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or used.

 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
